Papa gave me a "wake-up call" one time during our bonding moments about his many "unsatisfactory superloaded" email alerts (from my site) and his supposed "access" to my multiply photo albums...I found out he is NOT really the one viewing me but a poser (that knows his multiply id...must be someone in touch with him too).....AND same goes to the instances when i view my detailed history and i mostly see unidentified users (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, TECHHUMAN!!!). Don't you find it unfair and awkward that they used a username just to view you then cancel it as soon as the deed is done... I'm sure this didn't only happen to me. Stalkers are a growing breed, I must say.

Well..now.. I better believe that it may be anyone and I have to act (actually, I've been up to this for awhile)..I don't know if it's plain INSECURITY or the lack of STABILITY (of the mind) but I'm not planning to know the real motives of these losers "ehem" ..users. "Some" of "them" (actually most of the ones, I have an idea who) I've already reported, banned, blocked or whatever it's termed now.

Now, I really have to make use of this "ACCESS" selection with the PRIVACY options way below this upload album details page EVEN if it means longer upload time.

POINT IS...Hey, my kindness used to extend to EVERYONE. But after this post, "Everyone" is not an option anymore. Now, it's all about EXCLUSIVITY for my posts.

And NOW, I've re-edited my posts..that's that. Thereafter, if you're one of those who weren't able to get access, all you need to do is simple.

JUST ASK and I might remove the "KEEP OUT" sign!

I am really on the roll today...since pure office sales work kami today, I decided to multitask all the things that I've been assigned to do while still having the time to reap the benefits of being able to use my laptop at work as well. Since last week, I've been hassled by the constant search of a WIFI signal. Thanks to our MIS, Sir Johnny, he troubleshooted my laptop (my trusted friend and partner, a new home for my e-files now) and gave me my own connection here in the office. What a convenience..I can work and create my overdue blogs all at the same time...so happy!

Anyway, back to this album. Here are the pictures my family shared to me when they gave me a birthday party at J-ritz Cafe and Resto @ Robinson's Lipa last July 12, after my ENLI (Every Nation Leadership Institute) Saturday classes in Victory Center, Lipa.

It is not really very often that I spend time with my folks but when I get to, I really make the most out of it. I make sure I have all the memories captured.

Here's to families! Cheers!

A brand new year has been added to my life, yeah, that's what I keep on saying and I've been harping that on almost all my current posts here (been so consistent lately) but there is a special purpose why I keep that in mind....

I must share my blessings the best way I know how for me to be a blessing to others as well

"How have I been blessed?", you may ask. Here's the list...

Well, here are some of the "NEW" GIFTS AND BLESSINGS I've received which is even more than what I've prayed for:

"NEW" From GOD:
1. A new spiritual family...Victory Batangas Family..a growing family I am now so happy to be part of!

2. A new leadership group of women ...Thanks Ate Tina, Ever, Carmen, Tita Ilo, Tita Gay, Pines, Aileen, Gethsie for making me feel always like a sister...

3. A new couple's group...Thanks Pastor Louie and Ate Chaps for everything your doing for me and Karl and for the One 2 One's you have with us...

...and

4. A NEW JOB!  God is the best-gift giver! I didn't expect it to happen anymore but it did. Right now, I am just less than 10 minutes away from Karl's office and I have a very nice title to hold at the most prominent hotel destination here in Batangas City, home also of the Victory Batangas Sunday services...PonteFino.
Praise God!

"NEW" from Family:

1. a New Laptop!!!! (I've been praying for this since my old one went to my only brother for his thesis in college) This is a gift from my hubby with the help of my in-laws...so grateful!
2. a new pair of comfy shoes from my mother-in-law..so blessed!
3. a new watch which my sister-in-law selected and my mom-in-law purchased
4. a new perfume straight from Singapore (like the watch) also from them

5. a new dress from my MOM (still haven't worn it..but watch out for it!)

"NEW" FROM FRIENDS:

I have a newfound friend who came all the way from Manila to meet last May...her name is Tin...she's really a darling...she gave me 2 gifts:

1. a video -- i blogged about it here in multiply...see my previous blog entitled "my first-ever exclusively-made video..."

2. a CK IN2U perfume...very sweet of you Ms. Tin! So blessed I am to be your friend. See you soon!

July 9 - Ocular with Pastors at PonteFino which was also the day I got to know my job description there through the Medical Exam slip....well, I am so blessed already even if I don't have that position...I am so glad I am working where Victory Batangas is...Praise God!
God is indeed the best gift-giver!

July 10 - I had a grand time with my new young friends (who regularly seek my hubby's very divided attention at school) who call me "Tita GEM!". They're: Ryan, Steph and Aira. They are the student leaders at Upper School of SSIS (Stonyhurst Southville International School) and they're all Dada's students in Accounting and Entrepreneurship. They made my day by visiting me in Dada's office while I was finishing the SSIS newsletter. Oh and they go to Dada because he listens to them and gives them advices, according to these youngsters.

Thanks Ryan, Steph and Aira for making me feel so welcome in your school!

....more on the next album.....yeeeheee!!!

Mama (Karl's mom) and her youngest sister (Karl's aunt) gave me a surprise party. Karl went to the party carrying the cutest, yummiest Red Ribbon cake ever!

After the Victory Batangas Staff Meeting at Victory center (Victory peeps headed by Pastor Ray, surprised me too with a chocolate cake with mallows...and it's still Red Ribbon), Dada and I together with my sister-in-law, Loren Abygail celebrated my post birthday outdoors (at SM Lipa, haha!) and had dinner at Tokyo, Tokyo, my fave resto!

Just so happy...I can't manage to put it into words...so for those who are not really reading my blogs, I suggest you read my previous ones first...(It's just a suggestion to make you understand better so we're in sync and not out of the loop...)

As you all know, I turned 26 (but I am eternally 18..at heart, and very young but growing in faith) last 07-07-08. So here are the blessings that I received:

Last July 6 (Sunday): God gave me the strength, courage and the confidence (and the voice too) to sing for the first time as part of the Victory Batangas Music Team...

...for the back story, see my most recent blog post....thanks!

Last June 1, we celebrated our 3rd (civil) wedding anniversary in low-key style. (If you knew us from way before, you'll know this is a very new style and a fully compromised idea of celebration for us).

We just attended service in Manila and joined JR (Karl's bro studying in Ateneo) and Mama (Karl's mom) at Greenhills' Viramall in shopping for "pasalubongs" for Lech, Karl's brother in Singapore. He's the one in this picture, right most! -------->

Dada and I spent the day food tripping and he bought me my Victoria Secret Limited Edition perfume. I bought him his favorite laksa (curry soup).

To make up for the "special occasion", last June 7 and 8, my hubbylicious husband surprised me with surprise trips after he sent his parents and sister to the airport (they went to Singapore from June 7-12, see the picture above?) and after he went to Southville (work calls).

Surprise Trip #1:Manila Bay

We ate our late lunch at Singkit Chinese Restaurant then we strolled (under the scorching sun but thank God for palm trees) by the docks and watched the ships and yachts passing by while we talk about anything...well, under the sun. Very romantic, huh?

Surprise # 2: Ocean Park!

He promised me he'll make up for our cancelled trip to Ocean Adventure when we went to Subic last year...and he kept it! I am creating an album of this...watch out for the link!

Surprise # 3: Mall of Asia

We ate dinner at Fat Boy Resto ( super-sized pizza with carbonara) and watched the fireworks (we never get tired of those..well, we missed the pyrolympics this year, what can i say?).

HUGE Surprise # 4: Bellevue Hotel (It's not from dada!)

This one is actually my parent's surprise to us! They booked a room for us...they are also checked in another room..we had walks to the now well-lit 24hour call center strip near Bellevue and had midnight snacks in Mc Do and nearby cafe's ..Yup...so sweet...pix of the bellevue stay are just a click away. Here is that Bellevue Hotel AlbumLink .

                          Cheers from us!

PS (But it's more like a COMPLAINT)

...But I won't say cheers to the internet connection provided by my phone's network...please improve your internet services...after all you said you're all clever and SM__ __ __T. It takes me forever to reply, post my blogs and other uploads because of rampant disconnection. That is just UNACCEPTABLE! I better not be forced to create this shoutout again!

Very late post, it is! It's us, Nazareth teachers, hard on last-minute dance rehearsals for the MI Night musical. It's supposed to be a surprise for the studes but apparently they knew what we're up to and sneeked a video camera while we're rehearsing...yup, very sneeky indeed!

Thanks Teacher Henry for this copy...God bless!

Blog EntryBecoming Like DavidJun 6, '08 5:13 AM
for everyone

“… As in David Beckham or David Cook…the new American Idol?” you might ask. No, no, no! We’re not talking about these personalities. We’re talking about King David of Israel. Yes, he is also known as the man after God’s own heart.

My lead in this article may “lead” your already surprised eyes to stop reading the next sentences since I am not, as you found out, dishing out Hollywood celebrity gossips ala ET or Insider correspondent about the latest David’s. Truth be told, the David’s of our generation pale in comparison to the amount of influence King David has, even at this day and age. As proof (just quietly reflect on this for a moment) I believe you have once (or twice) aspired to be the greatest, the best among the rest, no matter how insignificant you’ve thought yourself of. Nowadays, who wouldn’t dream of being even half the man King David had been? Who wouldn’t aspire to have that kind of relationship he had with God? Who wouldn’t want to be as victorious in every battle, as popular in every known nation and as powerful and blessed as King David and be known from generation to generation? If there was indeed a Time’s Man of the Year award then, King David would have earned that title, hands down.  My resolve to be more like a David of our time is actually part of the reason why I am very excited to attend the Leadership Group series entitled “LEAD: Leadership Lessons from the Life of DAVID”.

But before I explain this leadership group series, I feel obliged to clarify in writing what a leadership group is so everyone will understand why there is such a group. A leadership group (LG) is a meeting of small group leaders and disciplers whose vision is to honor God and make disciples. In Victory, we believe that God has commissioned us as a church to go and make disciples just as it is written in Matthew 28:18-20.

The leadership series brought me back to my fascination of David, who as a young shepherd (with no experience at all as a leader), was chosen by God to rule his people and his land. As in Psalm 78:72, “David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.” During the first week of this series, we were brought back to the popular, well-liked Biblical story of David and Goliath. We learned that as leaders in Christ facing numerous gigantic difficulties in our ministries and in our personal lives, we should be like the young David who responded in faith and defeated Goliath with just a mere slingshot of a stone. We also learned that though the world looks at the externalities (the physical appearance, the demographics, the charisma and the bank account) in choosing leaders among them, God looks at the heart of His leaders. It’s really a heart issue, even in leadership.

In our Victory-Batangas City church planting, our pastors’ plan is to meet us for one whole month during each quarter for “equipping” sessions. This is like a leadership training seminar for me, in a “Christian” way. We are encouraged to attend once a week, that is, every Friday. During this time, we are equipped on how to be more effective ministers of the gospel to others.  The Bible says in Ephesians 4:11-12 that we are to be equipped to minister. The following weeks of this Leadership series (inspired by David’s lessons in leadership) brings us the lessons from the stories of David and Saul (Week 2), David and Nathan (Week 3) and David and Solomon (Week 4). God willingly, by the end of each week, we have imbibed the lessons King David learned from God during his lifetime and manifest Christ’s leadership qualities as we lead our small groups.

Moving on to the other activities planned for us, we learned that once every quarter, the Leadership Group will sponsor an “engage” event that will enable us to invite more of our friends and families into our small groups. Topics on these outreach events shall include: Parenting Seminars, Leadership Seminars, Financial Seminars, etc.

Then on the last month of each quarter, the leadership group shall focus on “establishing” new believers in the faith, Word, prayer and the church.

It is indeed quite a plan for us as a new church that I find myself looking forward to each and every step towards leading others to their call and destinies in Christ.

One dear friend wrote to me that as Christians, this walk of discipleship is not just about us, it’s about others that we need to empower because “the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few”. If we are not sold out at least in this period of trial, how do we expect others to be sold out as well?  We should always remember that Jesus Christ is the best example of commitment and leadership and if we follow His example in these areas, others will also be encouraged to lead people to Christ. It is exciting to co-labor with people I don’t even know in the advancement of His kingdom here in Batangas City. Truly, in the end, it is God who builds His church!

The Month of May brought some expected and unexpected events.

May 4 was Victory Lipa's 6th anniversary and a lot of MAY-ricles (my new shortcut for 'miracles of May') happened that night. A lot of unbelievers were saved and others claimed healing and deliverance. For us, it proved God is just by our side and the future really is BRIGHT!

My brother is turning 19 this coming May 24. I pray he becomes the man he's destined to be. As my only sibling, I desire nothing more but our years together would be fruitful and meaningful.

It was our godson Jethro's (son of Ate Jenny and Kuya Jeff) 1st Birthday at Villa Anita Resort in De Joya Village, Alangilan here in Batangas City. Turns out this is the Villa Anita Resort owned by Nazareth School's major shareholder, Mrs. Anita Almero. Surprised was I to see her resort which has a badminton court, swimming pool and a function hall. Sweet!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY AGAIN JETHRO!
